Asset Recovery Associates is a third-party debt collector that is currently based out of Lombard, Illinois.  They also go by the name Financial Credit Service and was started in 2003. Some recent filed complaints are below:

“They are relentless in calling. 5-6 calls a day during my working hours. Never leaving a voicemail. I did answer a couple of times. Often no one was there. When I did get someone, they said they were calling about a debt that wasn’t anything I even recalled and my credit report will support this. He did try to use scare tactics mentioning a motion filed in my county which is a complete lie. I did ask them to stop calling me and ended the call.”
